He's a true family dog, adapting quickly to home routines and basking in the joys of social living. Manook's foster reports that he's really thriving and even has a sister, Sheba, also available for adoption if you're looking for a double dose of happiness. Despite his youthful age, Manook’s personality is wonderfully balanced. He’s eager to please, always ready for playgroup antics or squeaky-toy time, and also loves curling up with his tail for a cozy cuddle. A social butterfly, he befriends people and dogs of all sizes, and is even savvy around cats. Good manners are a work in progress: Manook’s already crate-trained, does well on his own for up to eight hours, and continues to build his house training and leash skills. His activity level is playful yet moderate—an hour or two of daily fun suits him just right, especially with friendly dogs by his side. Please note, Manook enjoys the company of other dogs for play or relaxation, but because of mild resource guarding around food—common for his breed—he does best when fed separately.
