Meet Redkin, a striking young orange tabby who came from a tough background and is slowly starting to explore the world on her own terms. She’s about seven months old and was trapped in a place unsafe for cats, which has left her a bit wary of people. Redkin bonds closely with her foster siblings and shows her playful, curious side when she’s around other cats, but she still prefers to keep her distance with humans, observing more than engaging. She spends time out and about now, gradually growing braver each day. Redkin’s ideal home doesn’t have small children—she’d do best somewhere calm and steady, with another playful cat to help her build confidence. She isn’t house trained yet, but being a young, smart cat, she’s well on her way with patient guidance. Health-wise, Redkin is negative for FIV/FELV and has received her feline distemper and rabies vaccinations. She’s not yet spayed, so planning for that will be important.
