Milo is house trained and currently residing at the Richardson Humane Society. His playful and intelligent nature makes him a fantastic fit for a loving family home.

This cheerful Shetland Sheepdog/Sheltie mix absolutely adores children and brings a sweet, gentle personality to any family home. He’s already mastered important commands like “sit” and “go lay down,” and is doggie door trained for added convenience. On leash walks, Milo does well and though he barks in excitement when he sees other dogs, his friendly approach is always non-aggressive and he responds well to gentle correction, showing respect for boundaries. Fetch is one of Milo’s favorite pastimes—he’ll always bring the ball back and be ready for the next game. At home, Milo is a wonderful companion: he sleeps through the night (and would love to share your bed!), only chews appropriately on his toys and bones, and is excited to greet you without staying overly hyped. He also has very polite eating habits, never rushing his meals. Milo listens to boundaries, staying when asked most of the time, demonstrating how smart and eager to please he is. His caring and playful nature means he’ll continue to thrive with love and gentle guidance.
