About Pumpkin
Pumpkin is looking for a foster or foster-to-adopt home after her current family can no longer keep her due to life changes. She’s a 4.5-year-old American Bulldog who spent her first years having multiple litters and arrived at the rescue in early 2025 in rough shape. With time and care, Pumpkin has shown how sweet and loving she can be. She’s spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and is previously house trained, though she may need some patience as she settles and re-establishes her routine in a new environment. Pumpkin does best with clear structure around food—she tends to guard her humans at mealtimes, so crating her during meals is recommended. Like many bulldogs, she needs her skin folds wiped regularly and responds well to frequent baths. She’s best suited for a home ready to support her ongoing bulldog care, whether you're already familiar with the breed or willing to learn. Pumpkin is friendly with both dogs and children. Supplies and vetting are provided by the rescue for fosters, and fosters have the first option to adopt. Ready to help Pumpkin thrive? What are you waiting for? Apply today!
