About Athena

Start your journey together! Apply now. Athena is a Shiba Inu girl with an independent spirit and a tender heart. She loves walks and adventure—just be prepared for her playful harness game before heading out to explore. Once ready, Athena is all about discovering new things at her own pace. She really enjoys meeting other dogs and would be thrilled to have a gentle, playful canine companion to wrestle, cuddle, and lounge beside—preferably in a securely fenced backyard where they can both unwind. Athena is house-trained and confidently uses a doggie door, popping in and out to check on her people. Keeping her mind stimulated with toys or enrichment is a must, as she’s clever and might find her own creative pursuits if bored. Though quieter than many Shibas (unless squirrels are around!), Athena is gentle and sweet with people but prefers to choose when she interacts. She’s happy to share your space, and once she warms up, you’ll be rewarded with soft pets and delicate finger licks. Athena is looking for a dog buddy, patient humans, and a home with positive routines and respect for her need for space. In return, she’ll be a sensitive, playful companion with a beautifully independent nature. Please research the Shiba Inu breed to ensure a good match. Fun fact: with a birthday on April 1, Athena is an energetic Aries — known for independent spirits and a love of adventure! Give them the home they have been waiting for. Apply today.
