About Nelly

What are you waiting for? Apply today! Nelly is a gentle and calm girl with a beautiful black coat accented by some white markings and a bit of wiry hair—features her foster mom says add lots of character. She has shown excellent house manners, with no accidents at all indoors. Nelly is still learning about life in a home and takes her time observing everything from her cozy dog bed, where she can be found napping much like a typical Greyhound. She enjoys leisurely walks around the neighborhood with her foster sister Ash, who is also introducing her to the joys of playing with toys. Each day, Nelly becomes more comfortable with her surroundings and is gaining confidence from the kindness of everyone she meets, especially the children in her foster home. She is soaking up new experiences and settling in beautifully. More updates will be shared as Nelly continues to blossom. Please note, adoptions are available within a half-hour radius of Kansas City. They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply?
