About Rubble
Rubble, a one-year, eight-month-old English Bulldog in Buffalo, NY, is finally ready for adoption after months of decompressing in a foster home. He was found as a stray and spent seven months learning how to be a proper companion. Rubble is energetic and needs both mental and physical enrichment; when bored, he tends to chew or look for mischief. He can’t be crated—past trauma from escaping crates left lasting anxiety, so a Rubble-proof room is best if you need to leave him alone. While he does fine with some dog communication now, he’s still prone to humping—both dogs and people—so a single-animal home is best. He’s more interested in people anyway and loves to snuggle at night if allowed on the bed. Rubble is treat motivated and playful, enjoying tug-of-war and stuffies, though certain chews must be avoided due to recent dental surgery. He’s house trained and neutered. For safety, a home without small children or lots of houseplants is required: he will guard food or items if grabbed and has a habit of sampling leafy greens. A calm, present owner who works from home would suit him. With the right fit, Rubble promises a ton of joy and undeniable charm to his new family. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
