About Amor
Meet Amor! At just 10 months old, Amor has already shown remarkable resilience. She survived harsh neglect in Mexicali, left with her siblings in a front yard with no food, yet thanks to kind rescuers, she made it to safety and is now in foster care in Barstow. Amor is discovering what it’s like to live a happy, safe life step by step. She adores kids, easily makes friends with other dogs, and even gets along with cats. At first, Amor is a little reserved, but her confidence grows each day. Her foster enjoys watching her perk up when someone comes home—she greets everyone with a wagging tail and a little happy dance. Early on, she was too frightened to go outside alone, but now she ventures outdoors by herself and loves romping along the fence with dog friends. Amor weighs about 25 to 30 pounds and is an incredibly sweet girl who needs continued puppy training, especially to help her with her excitable jumping. She is looking for a patient family that can teach her new things and help her keep growing into the gentle companion she’s meant to be. Fun fact: Amor is a Gemini, which could explain her lively and curious spirit! Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
