Meet Kobe Kobe is a reserved, almost 15-year-old neutered male cat with a soft spirit and a lot of love still to give. He came into our care when his previous owner was no longer able to look after him, and while the transition has been a big one, Kobe has been quietly showing us just how resilient he is. Since moving into a foster home, Kobe has settled into a comfortable routine. He's eating and drinking well, using his litter box reliably, and slowly coming out of his shell. In a calm, quiet environment, Kobe is beginning to relax and show his sweet, affectionate side. He may take a little time to warm up, but once he does, he's a loyal companion who enjoys peaceful company. As a senior cat, Kobe does have some age-related medical considerations. His recent lab work suggests possible early kidney changes, which are common in older cats, and he has some dental disease that will require monitoring over time. Right now, he's stable and doing well, but he'll need an adopter who understands that he may require ongoing veterinary care to keep him comfortable and healthy. Kobe would do best in a low-stress home where he can continue to blossom at his own pace. A quiet household without too much commotion will help him feel safe and secure. In return, he'll offer companionship, quiet affection, and the special bond that comes from giving a senior cat a second chance.
