Meet Mr. Professor True to his name, Mr. Professor is a distinguished 12-year-old gentleman with a wise face and a soft heart. He may look a little serious at first glance, but don't be fooled-once he's had a moment to settle in, he's all about gentle affection, headbutts, and happily kneading away with his "biscuits." Mr. Professor appreciates a calm, unhurried approach to life. He may take a little time to feel comfortable in a new space, but with patience and a cozy spot to call his own, he settles in nicely and shows his affectionate side. He has lived with other animals before and can do well with mellow companions who respect his space and are introduced slowly. He'd also be happiest with older children or teens who understand how to be gentle and let him come to them on his own terms. As a senior cat, Mr. Professor will benefit from regular veterinary care to keep him feeling his best, including routine bloodwork. He has a history of chronic ear infections that are currently well managed, but he'll need ongoing ear cleanings and occasional follow-up care. He also recently had a dental procedure with extractions and is already feeling much more comfortable-his future family should continue to monitor his dental health with their veterinarian.
