About Athena
Athena is a brown tabby kitten with a short coat, already winning everyone over as a lap cat. She has a chatty personality and thrives on attention, often wanting to be held and close to her people—even when you are busy around the house. Social and playful, Athena interacts well with other cats and enjoys their company. She gets along well with gentle children and could join a household with kids who respect boundaries. Although she hasn't lived with dogs, her adaptable nature suggests she may adjust if properly introduced. Athena was rescued with her mother and siblings after being born on a hot summer day next to a dumpster on Chicago’s south side. Safe now, she’s grown into a confident, affectionate kitten. She is not bonded to her brother Zeus but would do well with him or another young cat—her future adopter must have another kitten or young cat or be prepared to adopt two. This policy ensures kittens like Athena get the healthy social development they need. Athena is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and has tested negative for FIV/FeLV. She is ready for a loving home in Chicago, IL. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
