About Bonita
Think you are the one? Submit an application! Bonita is a beautiful 3-year-old female Black Lab mix who is looking for her forever family. She was brought to the Prattville/Autauga Humane Society by County Animal Control after her previous owner never reclaimed her. With her glossy black coat and soulful brown eyes, Bonita is sure to steal your heart the moment you meet her. At just 34 pounds, she is quite petite for her breed and is currently being given high-quality food to help her reach a healthy weight. Bonita is known for her gentle, timid, and very shy nature, but she quickly warms up and reveals her sweet disposition. She gets along well with other dogs and is well suited for families with children, making her a fantastic family companion. True to her Labrador heritage, Bonita is affectionate and loyal, sure to bring love, joy, and companionship to any home lucky enough to have her. Please note that the Prattville/Autauga Humane Society does not accept online adoption applications—you must visit the shelter in person to meet Bonita and the other wonderful pets waiting for a forever home.
