Heartworm testing is completed for dogs over six months, and veterinary and microchip records are available via email, with paper copies upon request. If you're considering bringing Abbot home, rest assured the adoption process is straightforward and designed with your convenience in mind. Once you've selected the pet and completed the online adopter survey, you'll be contacted promptly to answer any questions or discuss Abbot's needs and suitability for your home. Paperwork and the adoption agreement will be completed online, and you'll coordinate a pickup at a Pet Central Helps! location, PetSmart in Bloomington, or the Cat's Meow Cafe, depending on where Abbot is located. Photos are taken at pickup to celebrate your new addition! If the match isn’t perfect, a 30-day no-fault return policy allows for exchanges or refunds (minus a small processing fee), ensuring both you and Abbot find the right fit.
