About Bandit
Meet Bandit! Bandit is a neutered Catahoula Leopard, about 9 months old as of April 2026 and weighing around 35 pounds. His family is going through a tough period and wants the best for him—they’re working to find him a secure future. This striking blue merle boy has a friendly streak a mile wide and genuinely enjoys people, kids, other dogs, and even cats. He’s lived with a much larger dog and handled it like a champ. As a young pup with classic Catahoula energy, Bandit needs frequent activity—he’s happiest when burning off steam. He loves tennis balls (the more, the better!) and will happily parade around showing off his stash. His current home just doesn’t offer the space he craves, and he’ll need a yard with a privacy fence, as a regular chain link isn’t a match for his acrobatic skills. Bandit would do well with a family willing to provide structure and consistent training, especially with crate training. He’s a quick study and is already house trained; a bit more consistency will help him thrive. Regular belly rubs, play, and attention are his perfect reward. To keep him safe and settled, the right environment means everything to Bandit. This is a courtesy post—Bandit isn’t in a Peppermint Pig foster home, but they’re helping his family connect with adopters. Ready to meet Bandit? Apply and be matched directly with his current home.
