About Rosie
Meet Rosie, our very own Rosie the Riveter—strong, resilient, and finally ready for her own happiness. At 3 years old, this petite shepherd mix (we know, the name is confusing, she's actually a domestic short hair cat!) weighs around 40 lbs and is no stranger to hard work: she raised seven healthy kittens and now deserves some pampering herself. Rosie's a bit guarded at first and tends to be wary of new people, especially men. She’ll need time and several meetings to build trust before feeling truly at home. Once she lets her guard down, Rosie is all heart, soaking up every bit of attention she gets. She’s done well with other dogs and older children, but her reaction to cats is still unknown—testing can be arranged. Rosie is housetrained and even enjoys car rides, making outings easier. With her days of motherhood behind her, she’s ready to find a devoted human who will put her needs first for a change. Let’s help Rosie find the family she’s been waiting for.
