About Apollo
Click apply to start the adoption process. Look at this speckle-tacularly handsome boy! Spend your days (and nights) with an attractive young man who'll charm you with loving companionship and keep you feeling vital and active. Ok, so he's actually a dog, but you won't lack for company. Apollo is confident and athletic, and as friendly as they come. He is a one-year-old Catahoula Leopard Dog/Husky mix weighing in at a svelte 40 pounds of fun and affection. When he's outside, Apollo wants to get moving. He's an easy walking partner, always up for taking in the good smells, meeting neighbors, and making new dog buddies. If you enjoy running, he's a great motivator, but he'll also appreciate a daily stroll to keep that energy balanced. Indoors, Apollo mellows out and is ready to relax with his people or dog pals—snuggling included! At night, he loves sleeping in bed alongside his humans and possibly a four-legged friend too. A quick learner, Apollo already knows his basic commands: sit, shake, down, and stay. If you're up for it, he'd excel at agility or advanced tricks, but is equally happy playing with toys, tackling a puzzle, or working a filled Kong. He's a great family dog—good with kids and gets along well with other dogs. While a dog sibling or playmate would be wonderful, it's not a requirement for the right family. He is both house-trained and crate-trained. Apollo can climb a chain-link fence, so he will need a privacy fence or secure tether when outdoors. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and current on heartworm, flea, and tick preventatives. With a $175 adoption fee, Apollo could be your new true love. Meet and greets are scheduled with approved adopters from Pawsitive Tails. Fun fact: Apollo’s birthday is November 3, making him a passionate and determined Scorpio—he’ll bring loyalty and playful energy to your life! Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
