James is a big-hearted, shy young guy. He tends to hang back at first, but he'll let you pet him and doesn’t mind a good grooming session. James rides quietly in the car and seems to find comfort in the yard, where he enjoys some slow-paced exploring. At the shelter, he gets along well with other dogs and looks forward to group play sessions. He also does fine with cats and has shown that he’s gentle and patient with children.
