About Inky
Inky is a big, lovable goof with a patient heart who has quietly waited over a year for his new family. At just over five years old and tipping the scales as a gentle giant, he wins over everyone he meets with his clumsy charm and a genuinely affectionate nature. Volunteers and staff at the rescue adore him for his loyal personality and the way he lights up anytime people are near. A fan of outdoor adventures—and, in particular, his energetic lizard-hunting missions—Inky is happiest with his humans, whether tagging along for walks or demonstrating his collection of tricks (especially if pup cups are on the line). He thrives on attention and togetherness, preferring to be part of whatever the household is doing. He’s both house trained and crate trained, neutered, and current on all his vaccines. Inky does best with a fenced yard for safe exploring or with a family willing to give him plenty of outdoor time. He gets along with other dogs but clicks best with females—the current love of his life at the rescue is Luna, another longtime resident. After so long in rescue, Inky is ready to be someone’s loyal sidekick. He just needs a chance to prove how much he has to give. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
