About Arnie
Arnie is currently with a foster in San Antonio, but he's ready to head north to the Pacific Northwest for the right home. At around 15 pounds and just 18 months old, heās a small, easy-to-handle Chiweenie mix with an affectionate temperament. He came in as a stray alongside his brother Archie, who has already been adopted. Since then, Arnie has shown a knack for getting along with both dogs and cats, but he does better when thereās a female in the homeāmale presence can make him uneasy, so a female adopter is best. Heās house trained, polite indoors, and while initially shy, he bonds deeply with his chosen person. Arnie thrives when heās not left alone for long periods; heāll stick to your side throughout the day, and much prefers sleeping alongside you over being crated. Heās known as a āVelcro dogāāhis foster momās shadow at all hours. Crate time is not his thing, so minimal crating is best. Arnie is reliable on leash, polite with other dogs on walks, and can entertain himself, but he doesnāt require another dog at home. Looking for a loyal companion whoāll soak up whatever time and attention you have to give? Arnie is hoping for a patient home where someone is usually around and willing to let him be a true part of the family. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
