With an estimated birthday around December 4, 2025, this little girl has already overcome more than most. Abby sustained trauma to her front right leg before she was rescued. As it healed without care, it set in a way that makes it look like she’s holding a tiny guitar but don’t let that fool you… it does NOT slow her down one bit! She runs, plays, and explores just like any other puppy. ✨ Abby’s Favorite Things: • Playing with her mom, Opal • Treats (obviously!) • Eating… and then eating some more • Snacking on backyard “treasures” like bugs • Napping hard after playtime Her foster’s full-time job right now? Gently removing sticks, rocks, bark, and mystery objects from her mouth every few minutes. Abby is the perfect mix of playful and calm. She has that sweet puppy energy but also settles nicely for quiet time. She’s learning to sleep in a crate at night and is making great progress. Because of her front leg, she hasn’t started formal walks yet, but she’s been practicing with a slip lead in the backyard to build confidence. She just received her first round of vaccines and was an absolute champ at her vet visit!
