About Fran
Fran is a year old now, and she’s spent her entire life at the rescue waiting to be chosen. One of her siblings had a DNA test—German Shepherd, Pit Bull Terrier, and English Springer Spaniel—and Fran seems to have inherited the best qualities from each: sweet, grounded, and quietly soulful. She’s not one to compete for attention, but when she comes over and leans on you, you instantly feel the kind of loyalty and gentleness most people hope for in a dog. Fran grew up in the rescue, and while she may be shy at first, she becomes playful as she settles in. She thrives in a calm space and forms deep bonds with those who show her patience. She enjoys affection once she feels secure and doesn’t have flashy needs—just someone to give her the steady love she's missed so far. Fran gets along well with other dogs, cats, and children. She’s not yet house trained, but she’s young and has shown she’s eager to learn. Vaccinations and spaying are taken care of, and she can even travel north to the right adopter. Fran is ready to trade in the rescue kennel for a proper home, and she’s hoping it might finally be her turn. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
