About Romeo The Sweetheart

Romeo The Sweetheart earned his name. He appeared outside a cat feeder’s home last spring, likely abandoned, but even tough breaks haven’t turned him cold. After being trapped and neutered, Romeo kept coming back for dinners and company, never losing his gentle curiosity or willingness to be near people. When winter arrived and things got rough, he asked to come inside—and the moment he did, he melted straight into foster life. Pick him up and he’ll press his face into your chest, quietly making biscuits. When hungry, he’ll talk to you about it. Romeo is a big, soft lap cat who surprises people with how tender he is. He’s fully vaccinated, neutered, flea-free, and dewormed. Romeo has FIV+, but that isn’t a deal-breaker—FIV+ cats with routine care live long, healthy lives, and since the virus is passed only through deep bites, he’s fine living with other cats. Romeo simply needs a home that won’t let him down again. Local NJ adopters only, within an hour of North Bergen. Your new best friend is just one click away.
