About Anna

Anna is currently being fostered in Memphis, TN, and will make her way to Connecticut once she’s adopted. She’s a sweet, 1–2-year-old Siberian Husky who’s had a rough start—found as a stray, then briefly kept outdoors, and finally brought into rescue. Anna takes well to training, especially when treats are involved, and enjoys playtime with people. Around dogs smaller than her, Anna is friendly and accepting; with larger dogs, she’s initially timid but can become tolerant with some patience. She hasn’t been tested with small children or other animals aside from dogs. In her foster home, Anna lives with three dogs but has only bonded with the smaller male, so a family with adults or older children and no other pets would be her best fit. Anna appreciates space and prefers to initiate affection. She’s fully vetted—including spay, microchip, and all required vaccinations—and is ready for her journey north to her new family.
