Jenn is a Shih Tzu/Yorkshire Terrier mix with a gentle spirit, whose fur is still a bit thin after her journey back to health, but her heart is full and ready to share her love. Jenn enjoys the simple pleasures in life—lap time, car rides, leisurely strolls, and especially, cuddles and attention from her people. She attaches easily to her caregivers and will happily follow you from room to room, making sure she never misses a snuggle. Jenn gets along with gentle dogs, having enjoyed the company of a variety of canine friends while in foster care. She has also spent time with a kind five-year-old child and was very gentle, so a home with older, considerate children would be a great fit (no toddlers, please). While not much of a player, Jenn’s affectionate nature makes her a loyal companion, and she thrives in the presence of others. She is house trained, and her potty habits remain good if someone is home for frequent let-outs, which is perfect for a family with a flexible or stay-at-home schedule. Jenn has excellent manners in the car and at doors and may recall basic commands like ‘sit’ and ‘stay.’ Medically, Jenn’s needs have been thoroughly addressed: she is up to date on vaccinations, spayed, and microchipped, and she has had successful surgeries as well as a dental cleaning.
