Hi there, I’m Alana! I’m a sleek, 1.5 year-old black beauty with mesmerizing green eyes. My story began in the summer of 2023, when I was rescued from a tough hoarding situation. It wasn’t the best start, but since coming into rescue, I’ve been learning to trust people more and more every day. So, what’s my vibe? I’d say I’m calm, independent, and very cat-friendly. I absolutely adore hanging out with other kitties! In fact, one of my best buds is a sweet cat named Maise—we’ve become good friends so maybe a home with her or another nice kitty. I’m hoping to find a home that has other friendly cats, because honestly, I’m more of a “cat person” than a people-person. Don’t get me wrong, I do enjoy treats and gentle pets (especially if you’ve got tasty snacks!), but I’m not a fan of being picked up out of the blue. I’ll come to you when I’m feeling the mood for attention—deal? I’m pretty easygoing. I love quiet moments, sunbathing by a window, and playful sessions with wand or laser toys. I don’t hide, so I’m not exactly shy—I just prefer to lounge around in the open, watching the world go by. If I’m not people-watching, you can find me curled up next to my kitty friends in a cat tower or on a cozy bed. My ideal home would be calm, not too busy, with fellow feline companions to keep me company. I really thrive in a multi-cat environment, and I’d be over the moon if I could be adopted with my bestie Maise. If that’s not possible, at least having one or two other friendly cats would make me the happiest kitty ever.
