Finn is a striking black-and-white Border Collie with a lot of heart and just as much energy. Around one to two years old, he came into rescue as a stray with a rough startāskin infection and patchy coatābut steady care smoothed things out, and his fur is shiny and healthy now. Finnās bright, athletic, and happiest when heās busy. Heād be best with someone experienced with Border Collies or herding breeds who can build on his natural intelligence and hold his interest. Right now, heās thriving in foster with two older female Border Collies, showing gentleness and strong play instincts. He really enjoys running with fellow dogs, chasing balls, and learning commands, but he could also be an only dog if you have the time and energy to keep him active. Heās picked up crate training, mastered basics like sit and down, and loves both food and mental games. Leash manners are a work in progressāheās eager and alert on walks, soaking it all in. Finn gets along well with other dogs but wouldnāt be right for a home with cats or small creaturesāstrong prey drive. Heās affectionate with people and adores being part of the action, although his excitement means heās better suited for families with older kids, seven and up.
