Meet Cheddar. He recently made his way to us after he was found in a local feral colony but quickly showed people that he really wanted a home of his own. He's been nothing but a super sweet, affectionate boy since arriving at our shelter. He loves being brushed and enjoys his daily wet food. Cheddar loves attention from people, is very easy-going, and enjoys the company of other cats. He would make a wonderful addition to a lucky family. He's about 4 years old. Cheddar did test positive for FIV. FIV (feline immunodeficiency virus) is a widely misunderstood condition. Many people think that it's easily spread, and cats will soon get sick. But FIV+ cats typically have a normal lifespan and can live with FIV negative cats as long as all cats are spayed or neutered, remain indoors and interact peacefully.
