About Apple Pie
They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply? You've never met a sweet pea like Apple Pie before! This friendly, energetic girl is sure to charm your heart. She is highly food motivated, which is wonderful for clicker training and engagement, and loves spending her time birdwatching from the window, playing with toys, and lounging near her favorite humans. Apple Pie was rescued after likely having been abandoned, so she is looking for someone patient and kind to help her build trust and feel safe. She is a little afraid of shoes and being scolded, suggesting she needs a gentle, loving home. Once she bonds with you, she will shower you with affection and cuddle up on the couch or even dance in the kitchen beside you—she is always ready for fun! This lovely tuxedo kitty is neutral around other cats and a bit shy with strangers. Her experience with dogs and children is unknown. Due to her past as a stray, Apple Pie may counter surf for food, but her overall easygoing nature suggests she would be a wonderful choice for someone looking to adopt their first solo cat. Please note, adopters must live within 50 miles of Raleigh, NC. Fun fact: With a birthday on October 1, Apple Pie is a Libra, a sign known for being social and affectionate—just like her!
