Maverick is a white and buff/tan domestic short hair cat in Wilsonville, OR, just a year old and bursting with curiosity. He has a short coat and a medium build. Though he has some ongoing special needs from his FIP recovery, he handles his daily care with ease and is searching for a home as playful and caring as he is.

About Maverick

Maverick is a playful white and gray kitten who brings a tidal wave of energy and curiosity to a room. He has a strong sense of adventure and loves to stalk, pounce, and chase after anything he finds interesting, earning his reputation as the household hunter. When the hunt is over, Maverick turns gentle and seeks warmth and belly rubs from his people. Behind Maverick’s playful personality lies an impressive journey. He’s an FIP survivor, now in the observation phase and thriving. Due to nerve damage from his illness, he is incontinent and needs help with his bladder and bowel care—a routine he's taken in stride. While he can jump with some gusto, Maverick doesn't go as high as other cats. He will appreciate a set of pet stairs to help him reach his favorite cozy spots. Maverick truly lights up around other friendly cats, and he’ll thrive in a home where he can play-wrestle with a feline buddy. His mix of affectionate companionship and playful mischief is ready for a family to appreciate. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
