This lovely Akita/mixed breed is a young, medium-sized female with a beautiful brindle coat. She is fully house trained, spayed, and her vaccinations are up to date. Currently residing at Melissa's Menagerie's Second Chances, Ali is also known for her compatibility with both cats and dogs.

After her previous owner became incarcerated, Ali and her sisters entered rescue care; her siblings have all found loving homes, and now it's Ali’s turn to shine. Recently, Ali has begun to show her sweet, calm, and loving personality. She may be shy at first when meeting new people, but with patience, she quickly warms up and will offer the softest kisses. Ali is friendly and social with other dogs and currently lives peacefully with a cat. She is completely housetrained and making great progress with her basic commands—she’s especially motivated by treats and already working on "sit!" Ali loves her time outdoors and enjoys running around in the backyard, savoring every moment. She’s also learning to enjoy car rides and is becoming more comfortable when out and about. As she can be timid and may try to slip out of her leash, she’ll need a secure environment and an adopter who is patient and mindful during transitions. Ali is a sensitive, wonderful girl looking for consistency, understanding, and love to help her blossom.
