Hercules welcomes everyone with an easy grin and an eager tail wag. He’s a medium-sized, short-coated black Labrador Retriever mix who lives up to his heroic name in personality, if not sheer muscle. Friendly and bursting with curiosity, he wants to meet everyone and isn’t shy about showing affection—be ready for kisses, excited spins, and plenty of playbows. He craves adventures, whether it’s galloping across a park or sniffing every inch of the backyard, and does just as well cuddled up by your side when things slow down. Hercules is clever and food motivated, so he catches on to new tricks and routines quickly. He isn’t yet housetrained, so you’ll need patience and a good sense of humor along the way. He does have special needs—he was diagnosed with Valley Fever and will need consistent medical care and understanding. Despite that, his spark for life is downright infectious.
