She's happiest curled up in soft bedding, soaking up attention in a quiet environment. Outside, she enjoys exploring and sniffing around, finding comfort in the fresh air. Life at the shelter stresses her out, and she's looking for a foster or adopter who will give her patience and understanding while she decompresses. Sassafras came to the shelter with a healing injury from a past dog attack, but she's recovering well. She's about a year old and weighs around 45 pounds.
