Meet Tex Your Loyal Adventure Buddy 🐾 Tex is an extremely affectionate, playful, and devoted boy who’s just looking for his forever person. He showed up at our home out of the blue covered in ticks with very weathered paws. Clearly having been on his own for some time. But once he found love and safety, he never looked back. Tex is a true people dog. He thrives on companionship and loves being by your side whenever he can. Whether you’re relaxing at home or heading out for the day, Tex is all in. In fact, he happily loads up in the car all by himself and enjoys riding along—often settling in for a cozy nap, sometimes even placing his paw on you like he’s holding your hand. He has been around children (primarily ages 10 and up) and has done very well. Due to his playful nature and size, he would do best in a home as an only dog or with other dogs his size. Tex is estimated to be around 2 years old, 65 pounds, and appears to be a full Pit Bull-type dog (DNA testing has not been completed). He is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccinations. Ready to go home with his new family. This boy loves to play! Tug-of-war is his absolute favorite, but he also enjoys a good game of fetch, soaking up the sun, and even taking a dive into the pool. He is comfortable in a crate when needed but has primarily had free roam of a fenced yard and has shown no destructive behavior. Patio furniture and belongings stay just as he found them. Tex is the kind of dog who will be your shadow, your road trip buddy, and your best friend all in one.
