About Apollo
Click apply to start the adoption process. Meet Apollo! Apollo is a 5-year-old, small Poodle/Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever mix with a golden medium coat, a gentle heart, and a sweet spirit. After his previous family faced a divorce, Apollo found himself in need of a new home, but a caring individual quickly stepped in, ensuring that he was safe and supported in foster care. He now enjoys long, peaceful trail walks alongside his foster mom, soaking up the calm of nature. Apollo is a kind and sensitive soul who can be a bit shy at first, so he’ll truly thrive with someone patient who is experienced with slow introductions and gentle handling. Once he feels secure, his loving personality shines, and he has already formed a strong bond with the German Shepherd in his foster home—they love to play together. This smart boy has mastered the sit command and also knows lay down and look. He is fully potty trained, enjoys car rides, and loves new adventures. When excited, he sometimes does the Toller scream typical for his breed mix! Recently vetted with a dental cleaning, Apollo is healthy and all set for the next chapter of his life. Due to a strong prey drive, he’s best in a home without cats, but he’s proven to be dog-friendly and thrives on companionship. Apollo is seeking a patient and loving adopter who will help him continue to blossom into the loyal, affectionate companion he's meant to be. If you want a devoted friend with a tender heart, Apollo might be the perfect match for you. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
