About Amani
What are you waiting for? Apply today! Meet Amani (also known as Mr. Man)—a five-year-old, goofy, affectionate dog bursting with personality and always the life of the party. Amani has waited far too long for his perfect match, and now it’s his turn to find a loving home. He brings energy, joy, and laughter wherever he goes, adores people, craves affection, and absolutely melts for belly rubs and being the center of attention. Social and happiest when involved, Amani spreads cheer to everyone around him. Amani shines thanks to his extensive professional training—he is both e-collar and pinch-collar trained and knows commands like sit, down, place, wait, and leave it. He flourishes with a routine and will thrive with a confident, experienced handler able to maintain his structured lifestyle. Clever, curious, and sometimes cheeky, Amani needs someone who enjoys an active, engaged companion and can continue reinforcing his habits. He is high-energy and playful, loves sleeping in bed with his people, and enjoys all the affection he can get. Due to his separation anxiety, Amani requires a special kennel when alone (which comes provided). Most importantly, he must be the only pet in a home with a fully secure, private yard, where he cannot see other dogs. His ideal adopter will support his ongoing routine and embrace his big, loving personality—and will be rewarded with lifetime squeaky toys, generously provided by his foster. Amani isn’t a starter dog, but for the right person, he is an incredible, charismatic, and deeply loyal companion who will fill your home with love and fun. Fun fact: born June 17, he’s a Gemini—a sign known for intelligence, playfulness, and a love of being part of the action! Click apply to start the adoption process.
