Meet Queenie! Queenie is a 6 month old large-breed mixed pup who already lives up to her royal name! At around 40 pounds now, we expect this sweet girl to grow into a stunning ~70-pound companion. From the moment she arrived in her foster home, Queenie showed just how special she is—warming up and winning hearts instantly. She is incredibly affectionate, playful, and loves nothing more than snuggling up with her people after a fun play session. Although a little shy at first, she truly warms up quickly especially when treats are involved! Queenie is also wonderfully smart and food-motivated, which makes training a breeze. She’s already off to an amazing start—she’s house trained, crate trained, and walks beautifully on a leash (truly impressive for her age!). She loves her kongs and bones- she gets those in the crate when it’s down time. She is learning to share nicely. She will even “drop it” when asked like a good girl with her toys. She gets along great with other dogs and takes comfort in having a confident canine friend around, as she enjoys following their lead. Because of this, she would likely thrive in a home with another friendly, well-adjusted dog. No young children in her furever home though. Out and about, Queenie is just as impressive. Whether it’s a trip to the coffee shop for a pup cup or meeting new people, she handles new environments with ease and watching her humans. She really does aim to please. Her foster mom says it best: “I’ve only had her a short time, but she’s been nothing but an absolute angel.” Queenie is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and will come with her health certificate—she’s all ready to find her forever home!
