About Baby Girl

Baby Girl is a very gentle, 10-year-old calico who ended up in the shelter with her friend Bubba. Though the shelter made her anxious, Baby Girl never lost her sweet nature—she’d respond to gentle petting with head butts and purrs. She’s recently been diagnosed with diabetes, but her foster family is helping her manage it with a daily insulin pen under a vet’s guidance. Because of her condition, any adopter would have her medical costs covered thanks to Laps and Naps, making her a great fit for a sanctuary home. Baby Girl is playful when she feels safe and can be found seeking attention and affection. She gets along with other cats and does well with children. Currently, she’s living in a foster home in Durham, NC, looking for the right family to offer her a soft landing. Click apply to start the adoption process.
