Leo And Lily
AvailableLeo and Lily are 12-year-old Dachshund siblings living together in Richmond, KY. Leo is neutered and Lily is spayed, and both are considered medium size. They are currently low energy and have enjoyed the company of both other dogs and children. Although working on their house training, they are already crate trained together. Lily has Cushing’s disease and some arthritis, needing daily medication and ongoing monitoring, but remains full of spirit. Their birthdays make them Cancer sun signs; true to form, they are happiest surrounded by love and comfort.
About Leo And Lily
Leo and Lily are a bonded pair of 12-year-old Dachshund siblings who bring a double dose of charm. Leo is an easygoing guy with a fondness for burrowing under blankets and lounging with his people—he really sticks close to Lily, his anchor in the world. He’s crate trained, good with other dogs (even the big ones), and happiest either curled up indoors or investigating the fenced yard. Every now and then, he pursues moles but, mostly, he just wants to be loved and near his humans. Lily is a sweet, affectionate soul who loves naps and digs with determination (even with just one paw). She has a bit of arthritis and was recently diagnosed with Cushing’s disease, handled with daily medication (hidden in cheese, which she loves). Both dogs are low energy and happiest together; they’re in the process of mastering house training and share crate time. They’re friendly with most dogs and are reported to do well with children. These two must be adopted as a pair due to their close bond—Lily will need ongoing care for her medical needs but doesn’t let that slow her down. Leos and Lily’s birthdays make them Cancer sun signs, so a love for home and family runs deep in their personalities. They’re currently in Richmond, KY, waiting for someone who appreciates all the quirks and warmth seniors bring. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
