About Speed Bump

Meet Speed Bump, a gentle survivor. She earned her name after a rough start in life; she was hit by a car and left for dead. Luckily, we found her just in time. After undergoing FHO surgery to alleviate pain, she now walks with a permanent limp and a bit of stiffness, but that doesn't hinder her spirit. She loves to jump around on cat trees and spend her days gazing out the window, observing the world. Speed Bump is a sweet, quiet girl who takes her time to trust. She won’t rush to greet visitors or demand affection. If you’re looking for a lap cat, she may not fit the bill. However, if you believe in second chances and can offer her the patience and kindness she needs, she could be the perfect companion. Deep down, she’s incredibly docile and harmless, still learning that humans can be kind. Although she’s easy to overlook, we believe Speed Bump deserves a loving home, and someone out there will see her potential. Ready to give her a chance?
