She is large-sized with a short coat that’s easy to care for and is fully house trained. Sassy’s vaccinations are up to date. She currently lives in Midvale, UT, and is hoping for a peaceful, affectionate home where she can enjoy her golden years.

Sassy is a sweet senior Manx cat looking for a calm and loving home after spending a lifetime with her elderly owners. Her world has recently changed, and she’s searching for someone patient and gentle to help her settle into her new chapter. Sassy thrives in quiet surroundings and has a soft spot for sunbeams, cozy cat trees, and a good brushing session—she’ll purr immediately when the brush comes out. She takes her time to warm up, but once comfortable, she’s heartfelt and affectionate. Her favorite thing is to be scooped up and carried, pressing close until she feels safe, highlighting her tender, trusting side. Sassy’s recent vet visit showed she’s in good shape for her age, including a clean bill of health and a recent dental. She benefits from a high-quality senior diet, with both wet and dry food, and enjoys a little encouragement to maintain a healthy weight. As a classic Manx, she sports her signature short tail, and her excellent litter box manners and easy-care short coat make her a low-maintenance companion. She’s well-suited for a home with another gentle cat (she lived peacefully with another cat named Mama), or as an only kitty. Sassy does not have experience with dogs and likely prefers the company of adults or calm households, as she tends to hide when children are around. Most of her feline friends from the rescue are adopted in pairs or into homes with existing furry companions, depending on what fits best.
