He is incredibly gentle and affectionate with humans of all ages—truly a soft, snuggly soul who loves nothing more than belly rubs, nuzzling up for naps, and curling up next to you for movie time. He’s also an amazing adventure dog! Brutus thrives outdoors and has tackled long hikes, big mountains, and multiple camping trips like a pro. He settles beautifully in a tent and would be the perfect companion for someone who enjoys an active lifestyle. Brutus would do best as the only pet in the home, where he can soak up all the love and attention he deserves. He needs either daily walks or a securely fenced yard (6 ft or higher), as he’s athletic and can jump lower fences. (He’s currently doing great with a backyard run setup, too!) When meeting new people, Brutus may get a little excited and jump at first—but it’s all love! If you simply ignore him for a few minutes, he quickly settles down and shows his sweet, gentle nature. He has zero aggression toward humans—just lots of enthusiasm and kisses to give.
