About Twyla
Click apply to start the adoption process. Meet Twyla, a 10-month-old unique blend of Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler and Miniature Schnauzer (among others), tipping the scales at a perfect 35 pounds and almost done growing. Her wiry coat, expressive eyebrows, and undeniable charm turn heads wherever she goes—and she’ll steal your heart in record time! Twyla is inquisitive, energetic, and loves to stay busy. Thanks to dedicated foster care, she's already learned sit, down, 'go to bed' (kennel), and more, making her a quick learner eager to please. She’s nearly fully house trained and would excel with ongoing enrichment and learning opportunities. Twyla is a dog-social butterfly—she enjoys doggy daycare, plays with another active pup, and knows how to be gentle with seniors. At the vet, she earns gold-star behavior! With cats, she’s a bit too interested for comfort and would do best with a playful canine companion instead. An ideal home for Twyla will be active, ready to engage both her clever mind and athletic body with walks, runs, hikes, and lots of play. She’d thrive with a fenced yard and plenty of mental stimulation. Twyla is spayed, up to date on vaccines and prevention, and microchipped. Adoption is the new adventure! Ready to roll?
