About Bailey
Make their next chapter their best one yet. Bailey is a lovely, gentle 1-year-old Rhodesian Ridgeback mix, weighing about 50 lbs, with a heart as sweet as her soft, red coat. Most of her young life was spent in a shelter, but in foster care, Bailey’s personality has begun to shine. She delights in running around the yard, cherishes her toys, and just recently discovered how magical treats can be—they might be her new favorite thing! Even though she’s still young, Bailey has a low-key and calm energy, content with simple routines and quiet time by your side. She’s excellent on leash, always sticking close while walking, and she’s crate trained yet equally comfortable outside of the crate, settling peacefully with her toys when left alone. While her past has made her a little shy and unsure, Bailey gains confidence every day and enjoys being around other dogs. She especially thrives with another confident canine friend who can help her blossom and feel secure. With steady love, routine, and support, Bailey will keep growing into the wonderful companion she is destined to be. Fun fact: as a Sagittarius (born December 19), Bailey may have an adventurous spirit and curiosity hiding beneath her gentle, cautious nature. They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply?
