Meet Alfie, Alfie’s story is one that started in sheer heart break. Someone intentionally tied wire around his body, leaving him to suffer just to see if it would cut him in half. It’s the kind of cruelty that’s hard to comprehend. But Alfie is not defined by what was done to him. Despite everything, Alfie has the most incredible spirit and the sweetest heart. With the love and patience of his amazing foster mom, he’s learning that the world can be kind and that he is finally safe. Alfie is a mellow, affectionate boy who simply wants to be close to his people. He’ll greet you happily when you come home and then settle in for a cozy nap in his bed. He loves car rides, enjoys his walkies, and is happiest just being part of your day. He’s wonderful with kids, cats, and other dogs. Alfie is housetrained, not destructive, and prefers open spaces (crates aren’t really his thing). He’s a calm, easygoing companion. Alfie is ready for his forever home and can’t wait to meet you. ❤️
