About Robert
Robert is a large brown tabby with an unmistakable presence, both in size and personality. At just over 12lbs and about 18 months old, he grabs attention, sometimes a little theatrically—he will limp for sympathy when you're looking, but walks just fine when he thinks the coast is clear. The vets suspect he might have had a minor past injury, but nothing bothers him now; he jumps, climbs, and explores without hesitation. Friendly and easygoing, Robert wants to be near people, but he’s never clingy or needy. He’s content just sitting by your side, happy to be your low-maintenance companion. He’s clean with his litter box and carries himself like a big, plush teddy bear. Cheese is his favorite treat, and while he’s not picky with food, chicken and turkey are preferred over fish. Robert gets along with other cats, but seems happiest as a solo cat or perhaps with just one companion, especially if his human is home much of the day. He does become anxious if left alone for too long, a lingering effect from his days as a stray, but given a calm home and some routine, he settles in quickly. All he really wants is someone steady to call his own. Click apply to start the adoption process.
