** In order to adopt an un-spayed kitty from HSMC, you must live within an hour of the shelter. You will initially "foster to adopt" the kitty and then the adoption will be finalized when they are brought back for their spay surgery. This cutie patootie is the wonderful, Blessing. This darling girl was found as a stray kitty, and taken care of by a kind person until we had room for her at the shelter. Blessing has an estimated birthdate of 10/20/24 so she's about 1 1/2 years young. Blessing is an absolute sweetheart and she has already stolen the hearts of the staff and volunteers. She is so gentle and patient, and has the most laid back and sweet personality. She loves to get love and pets but is never pushy about it. She happily waits until she gets love and pets and then she absolutely melts. She really is a total doll and there is no doubt that her new person or family will fall head over heels in love with her just like we have. She loves looking out the window, hoping to see the occasional bird, and she would likely love to continue her birdwatching habit in her forever home. She would love to have a big cat tree of her very own so that she can gaze out the window for hours. If you would like a calm kitty to spend your time with, then Blessing is your perfect match. She gets along great with other kitties, and doesn't seem to have the sass that come come along with that flashy fur. Calicos have a reputation for being a little on the sassy side, but not Blessing. She's a total sweetheart who loves everyone. We don't know for sure how she feels about dogs, but she would likely be fine with a calm, cat-friendly dog.
