About Alanis
Your new best friend is just one click away. Alanis is a gentle adult Domestic Short Hair with a very special story—she was born with a structural anomaly of the inner ear, which causes chronic congestion. This condition isn’t contagious and is genetic; it simply means Alanis needs a little extra care to keep her comfortable and happy. To keep her breathing easy, Alanis should be in a calm, quiet home and spared from overexertion or extreme temperatures, so she can thrive at her own pace. Her adoption fee is currently reduced due to these medical needs, and this includes her being spayed, up to date on vaccines, FELV/FIV tested, dewormed, flea treated, and microchipped—everything she needs to start her next chapter with you! Alanis is waiting to meet you in person at the Humane Society of Sandusky County, open Monday through Friday from 1pm to 5pm and Saturdays from 1pm to 4pm. Enjoy the journey of friendship: Alanis was born March 27, making her a determined Aries, a sign known for courage and a loving nature. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
