Jr Baer is an easy-going, mellow natured canine who showed his inner compassion as he reached into a doggy wading pool and carefully extricated a floating squeaky doll. He also demonstrated his fun-loving self as he gave park tours to many squeakies but especially to his favorite, a shiny purple rhinoceros. While the canine and his human friend took a break from the park exploration, Jr Baer sat down closely and with an unmistakable gaze whispered “I don’t want you to worry about your injury, I am here to take care of you if you need any help.” The human showed his appreciation of the thoughtful gesture by giving Jr Baer a kind hug and a delicious hot dog treat. Jr Baer kept a wonderful focus on his human and when called, even from across the yard, would dash a smile-filled, pedal-to-the-metal run to the human and then when he arrived, he would drop into a sit, so closely positioned that it would take a very challenging effort for his human friend to move. It was good fun for everyone. Jr Baer has had five years of life experience which has served him well.
