Bale came to the shelter after his last family discovered allergies, but itās clear he was loved. Heās easy to pick outāhis bob tail is a standout feature and only adds to his quirky charm. Bale spent his previous life with cats, dogs, and children, and his gentle, friendly style has stuck with him. Heāll rub up against you or another cat (whether they like it or not), so a cat sibling who doesnāt mind a little attention-sharing would be a good match. Still, heās content as the sole cat if his people are often nearby. Bale is slow to warm up at firstāexpect a few days of hiding when he moves in. But once he settles, heās a textbook lap cat and makes every surface a bakery with his biscuit-making skills. He chirps, trills, and will nuzzle for as long as you let him. Playing with toys doesnāt come naturally to him (catnip exceptions aside), and heās particular about food, sticking to his favorite dry brands and showing little interest in wet or gourmet options. He enjoys being brushed and doesnāt mind a belly rub but isnāt keen on being picked up for long. His litter habits are flawless.
