What's that? You said you were looking for the perfect dog? Well, congratulations--you've found me! I'm Lyla and I'm an intrepid little "forever puppy" with a heart of gold and infinite love to share! I might be 15 years old, but you'd never know it--I'm incredibly active and love to play with my toys, especially tennis balls! I do get a kick out of playtime, but, more than anything, I LOVE people! If you're young, old, big, or little--as long as you've got a pulse, I'm ready to make friends! You might have noticed that I have a rather curious haircut and am sporting some fancy jammies. See, I didn't have enough nutritious food for some time, so that definitely had an affect on my coat. Thankfully, I sure do love food, so with a healthy diet, I'm sure to be on the mend! I'd do well in just about any home, and if you don't believe me, just ask our Animal Care Manager, Sarah! I'm her Staff Favorite and she says that I'm "literally perfect." I'll need to be fostered before my adoption can be completed, as I still need to make a visit to the dentist first!
